Joshua Ricafrente

Web developer and designer, founder of Seikó Designs

I design and build Shopify and WordPress websites that sell, and I keep them working after launch.

Selected work

Shopify stores built at Seikó Designs, the studio I founded, for brands in skincare, wellness, apparel and art. Outcomes are as the studio reports them.

More stores

Hi, I’m Joshua.

I studied Information Technology at Bulacan State University, and I’ve been building websites since 2018.

In 2020 I started Seikó Designs. Seikó means success, and the idea was simple: design websites that help businesses get there. One client became the first website, and the first website became a reason to build another.

I still design and build. When you book a call, you talk to me, and the people who scope your project at Seikó Designs are the people who build it. There are no account managers and no handoffs.

So far the studio has built more than 200 websites for more than 55 brands, for clients in eight countries.

I started Seikó Designs because I kept meeting business owners with beautiful websites and empty carts. That’s still the problem I’m most interested in.”

Three ways to work together

Most projects start in one of three places. Whichever it is, the design and the build both happen in-house at Seikó Designs, on Shopify or WordPress.

  • A new website

For when you’re starting from scratch.

Design, build and launch, from an empty page to a live store.

    • Shopify or WordPress, chosen for what you sell and who will update it
    • Design and build under one roof
    • Launch and a proper handover, so your team knows how to update it
  • Redesign and rescue

For when your website isn’t doing what it’s supposed to.

An audit first, then a rebuild or a move to a platform that fights you less.

    • An audit of the paths people actually take through your site
    • A rebuild, or a move from Wix, WooCommerce or Squarespace
    • Checkout treated as seriously as the homepage
    • Migrations planned to keep your search rankings
  • Website management

For when you’d rather not think about it.

Maintenance, updates and conversion work, month to month.

    • Monthly maintenance and updates
    • Ongoing conversion work, not a one-off
    • New sections, campaigns and product launches
    • A developer who already knows your store

Beyond the website

  • Performance

Core Web Vitals, and a site that loads before your customer changes their mind.

  • SEO and GEO

Structured data, ranking in Google, and being quotable by the AI search tools people now ask instead.

  • Software and apps

Internal tools, monitoring platforms and native mobile builds, including apps paired with hardware.

  • AI automation

Assistant-style tools and automated workflows that keep things running behind your website.

This systems work has no public links. Ask me about it on a call.

Common questions

Do you design and build, or just one?

Both, in-house. Handing a design to a stranger and hoping is not a process.

Shopify or WordPress?

It depends on what you’re selling and who will update the site after launch. That is a decision, not a preference, and we make it together on the call.

Why aren’t prices on this site?

A number without a scope is a guess. After one call you’ll have a real one.

Do you work with clients outside the Philippines?

Yes. Seikó Designs has worked with clients in eight countries: the Philippines, Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Singapore, Japan and Brazil.

How a project runs

Five steps, and you’ll always know which one we’re on. You won’t need to fill in a 100-question form first.

  1. A fifteen-minute call

Send me the page that’s giving you trouble. I’ll tell you what I’d do, what I’d leave alone, and roughly what it will cost. No homework.

    You get: A straight answer

  2. Work out what you’re actually selling

Before any layout, we figure out what your customers need to understand, trust and do.

You get: An offer and objection map

  3. Structure first, looks second

Pages, automations and the path to checkout come before anyone debates button colors.

You get: Page structure, signed off

  4. Build it

On Shopify or WordPress, with your real content, not lorem ipsum and empty boxes.

You get: A staging link you can click through

  5. Launch and hand over

We launch, hand everything over properly, and make sure you know what to do next.

You get: A live site, measured and handed over
